Pierre Pilote was born on December 11, 1931, in Kenogami, Quebec. Pilote played junior hockey for the St. Catharines Tee Pees. Pierre played defense for the Blackhawks from 1955 to 1968. He was best known as the Hawks policeman, but he was also able to score. The eight time all-star finished his career with the Blackhawks with 477 points. Pilote was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1968. In 1975, he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Pilote has been involved in many different business ventures since his retirement from hockey.
