Rich Storm Volume VI Issue 4
Friday 1/21/2000
A poor turn out produced a low scoring game with Stump
stopping the red hot Rich Storm. A Berserk hat trick was the only goals
by the Home team. The Ghost held the Blues to 2 meaningless goals, but
Thor blasted one into the top shelf for the meaningful winner. The
Blues had a couple of near meaningful goals that could have been used if
needed. Harvey fired a shot that Tom “Butt head” Morgan tipped in.
Everybody congratulated Harvey and he took the bows, never letting on that
his shot was tipped in by a team mate. Bob “Orion The Hunter”, fired
a slap shot in from the point that appeared to be deflected by Hacksaw.
Boris never denied the tip, but he did confide to his team mates that he
didn’t feel that 90 mph slap shot hit his stick. He said that we
could save that goal and convert it to meaningful if we needed it.
As it turned out, Thor’s goal was all that was needed with Stump’s stand
out goal tending.
Peoria Report
The Rivermen are red hot. They will be going for their
10th straight win on Friday as they battle The New Orleans Brass. Peoria
remains in first place with a record of 27-9-3, They still have 6
games in hand.
We have 17 Duffers going up Friday and 6 more coming
up Saturday. We have to be off of the Ice at 4:30 and out of the
locker room by 5 on Friday. The King is planning a 5:30 dinner. Brinks
is feeling better and planning to come up with us.
Alien, Stump, Beer Nuts, Wheezer, Klinger, Brinks HitMan,
Koss, Beak, Berserk, Papa Joe, King, Uncle Bob, Orion the Hunter, Hacksaw,
Frank, and Rich Storm. Saturday arrivals are Fruit Cake, Dock,
Nailer, Drano, Don and friend.

We have sold our Friday ice in Bridgeview. We will
meet at the Willowbrook Holiday Inn at 11:30 AM with a departure at 12
