August 27, 1999 Reporters
Cammi Granato *** Rich Storm
Volume V Issue 25
The last summer skate of the
1999 season, featured some dramatics before the game even started.
Beer nuts couldn’t get his foot into his skate and Doc forgot his pants.
The solution to Doc’s problem was obvious, steal the pants out of Beer
nuts’ bag. Beer nuts’ problem was a little more difficult now because
even if he found a pair of skates that would allow his big feet into, he
didn’t have any pants now. So Beer nuts gave up playing and took
the head coaching job on the Blues bench. The pants worked well for
Doc, as he scored a hat trick for the Blues. Hitman scored a meaningful
goal early in the contest. Boris scored a meaningful goal for the
whites to tie the score. Frank, who was teamed up with his grandson
Bobby on defense, fired a knee high shot from the point that was flying
at 50 mph until Beak slowed it down with a tip that went down and past
the Ghost for the winning goal.
