This is not actually Rith's picture, but this IS what our dragon's look like!
You tread softly into the sands. You heard there were eggs, and you don't dare make the mother dragon mad. I am never mad traveller. A voice chimes in your head. You whip around to gaze apon a large...huge green dragon, who seems to sparkle gold in the light.
You stumble backwards as your jaw drops as you look at the huge green dragon. I am Rith, the Weyrwoman's dragon. This is my clutch, you may look at it. But do not touch the eggs, or I will have to get violent with you.. she thinks. You obey her order, and look amazed at the eggs. Clearly, there are 26, and one looks like it could be a gold egg.
The tall young Weyrwoman walks up to you and smiles gently, "Welcome traveller, as you can see my Rith has laid another clutch. She was flown by brown Silitonith. Would you like to become a candidate? That would be wonderful. Just read the rules and fill out the form." she tells you, handing you a slightly tattered hide.
1. You must have a web page. No web page, no dragon. I will make exceptions for those who really want one, and don't have a page. If you want one and have no page, email me for details.
2. You must have a working email address and YOU MUST sign up for the Sapphire Weyr mailing list, because THIS IS HOW YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR DRAGON! IF YOU DON'T SIGN UP, THEN YOU CAN'T BECOME A CANDIDATE!.
3. You must have a visable link on your page to Sapphire Weyr so others may come here. If you want, you can use the candidate link we made :) (That's Rith and Galleth, by the way)
4. You must update your dragon within 7 days, one week of getting it's next stage. You won't have to worry about this much, because there're only three stages with these dragons, hatchling, weyrling, and adult.
5. This is very important. Are you ready? Repeat this in the comments and/or why you want a dragon part. I want a purple whale with blue ears and an earring on it's tail. I'm doing this because no one is signing up for the news letter. if you want to receive your dragon, you HAVE to be part of the news letter!!! Oh, and the saying WILL change with every clutch ;)
6. You must have a persona for the dragon to impress to. It can be male or female, ages 11 through 30 turns and have at most 3 other pets living with it. You can only send in at most 3 persona's to become candidates, unles otherwise said.
7. The persona's weyr URL must be working to become a candidate. If you want help on building a weyr, look at our dragonsrider's weyrs. Do NOT copy the story or manes from them though. And if you still need help, email Jewel, and she'll help you as much as she can.
8. Your dragon is born knowing it's name. Changing it is a great insult to them. Also, you do not chose which color you get, you can ask for a specific color, but don't say you're going to get a gold, because then I'll make sure you don't get that color.
9. Have fun! This is supposed to be for fun! Don't get mad because you got a blue or green, they're just as important as golds, bronzes, and browns. Look at our dragons riders, most browns and greens, and blues. They are all happy with what they have.
