The Buyer's Club
Buzz's BoatYard and the Import Store both have a "Buyers Club". This club is nothing more than a group of people who have made an agreement to pay an annual fee to purchase toys at a greatly reduced price per item. Examples include dolls, ships, tintoys, bric-a-brac, and imported items by the hundreds. The more who join this Buyer's Club, the better the prices get. The membership fee for one year is $29.00. Each order thereafter must meet a minimum total of $30.00. You'll probably save that much on your first few orders, but a LOT of this depends upon how many of your friends you tell about this incredible deal. This, of course cuts down on my profit margin, but volume is the answer, and the more members, the more orders...and the lower the prices.
Here's an example of your savings if we had only 10 members in the Buyer's Club.
The example is that of a boat I purchase from an importer, and then sell to the public at a markup. There is room in the markup for a greater number of members to obtain significant savings, especially if purchasing several items per month,etc. This boat presently sells for as much as $20.00. You, as a Buyer's Club member, can purchase the exact boat for $14.00, and many times, less ... according to the imort deals I can get. That's a six dollar savings on ONE purchase. Buy a few items this way and you'll realize you're actually getting some for free if you add up your savings. Be sure to email us about this exciting new approach to save you money.
If you'd like to become a member, please email us your full name, exact shipping address, phone number and the type of toys and/or imorted goods you are interested in. We'll make some suggestions, and send you direct scans and/or photos of items we can save you money on. You may also order the complete catalog of items. This is especially a good idea for the collector. Spread the word around and we'll get your first order out. Come on and join the fun! Prices changes are noted each time a member emails an order to us. This is also a way for you to purchase some items for re-sale if you are licensed in your area to do so. So, what's in it for us? Money, of course... the same as for you! If we place large orders we get a cut on prices from our importers. There is no reason these savings cannot be passed on to you. So, start sending email to your friends who are interested in everything from collector's items to jewelery. Remember, these prices, although a great deal in their own right, can be reduced by becoming a member of the Buyer's Club.
