Hamilton Elementary/Middle School

"Children First"

Principal's Message

Welcome to the Hamilton Elementary/Middle School's web site. We are a school with "a proud past, and a promising future." We have served the students of northeast Baltimore since 1926, and we expect to continue well into the 21st century. We strive to be the hub of this community.

The purpose of our school is to provide a place where young minds can grow in an atmosphere conducive to the development of intellectual skills and strong healthy bodies. This school is such a place. Over the years our parents, teachers, and community members have worked hard to create that environment. Their work has resulted in the creation of arguably the best school in the Baltimore area.

The program at Hamilton Elementary/Middle School is devoted to educating children in grades pre-k to eight. During these years children grow from childhood to adolescence and pretty much determine the rest of their lives. It is important that during these years our children learn the academic and social skills they will need for the future. It is equally important that they develop sound study habits and a positive self-image. Our staff is committed to these goals.

Please proceed with your cyber tour of our school, and if you have questions, please call us at 410-396-6375. We look forward to hearing from you.
