I'll never forget the first time I went into a chat room! A friend at work intorduced me to the world of chat. That was in 1995, years later I have witnessed many lives turned upside down from chatting and cyber relationships! Though I have had the pleasure of seeing lives that have been enriched.... but sadly that is too far and few in between....With any new adventure you have the positive and the negative! ONLY meet virtual strangers for the first time in a public place, where there are many people! NEVER invite them to your house. TELL others about your meeting...when where and with whom. |

IF something seems fishy, it usually is! NEVER respond to messages that make you feel confused or uncomfortable. You should IGNORE the sender, end the communication, and tell someone you trust right away. Take down their IP number and email the host of the chatroom. |
