What a miracle, the birth that night!
A baby born under the star so bright.  
Did God cry when Jesus was born?
Did tears of joy flow that very morn?

As a boy growing up so strong,
God watching over him, all along.
Did one tear fall, watching him grow?
Tears of happiness only parents know.

When a man, teaching, for all to hear,
Bringing miracles to those so near.
Telling of God's love to every race.
Did tears of pride, fall down God's face?

Did God weep, as his son was led away?
To be crucified the very next day.
Did God cry out in pain and sorrow?
To know that Jesus would be sacrificed tomorrow?

Did God cry when Jesus ascended?
One last miracle, as He intended.
Did tears of joy, fall just once more?
As God welcomed his Son back home for evermore!
