When God took the rib from Adam’s side, His intentions were to make him a bride. God created a loving, faithful creature, He made woman with just the right features. Someone to take care of the softer things in life, Compassionate, yet strong enough to handle the strife. She would be the one to bear the child, And help make the rough times into mild. She was to walk beside Adam, under his arm, For he was the one to keep her from harm. He was not to use her, but a partner to be, For each to love the other until eternity. Author: Susan T.
