Wow, great site. I'm at work right now so I don't have our family information
with me but I will write back when I do. My father has traced our family tree
quite thoroughly and I will forward this information to you when I have a
moment. Offhand I know that our family left Westport, Ireland during the famine

MJ Mulvihill was my maternal grandfather. his father, also Michael James,
worked for a railroad system in Canada -- along the Erie (?). No one seems to
have much information on the family. My grandfather's mother was Sara Foran,
also of Ireland -- prob bly around Cork, as my aunt thinks. My grandfather was
born in July of 1895 in Douglas, Ontario. He died in January of 1966 in
Quesnel, B.C. If this is a Mulvihill you have info on, please let me know.

tipperary in 1980.His parents,margaret and michael,came from near listowel in
co. kerry.They moved to meath in 1950 and now have 13 children.this branch of

John Costello married Bridget Mulvihill in Ireland and according to death
certificate they came from Co. Roscommon. They had five children all born in
Ireland Catherine b: 1843, Joseph b: 1844, Mary b:1848, Margaret b: 1855 and
James b: 1862. Heritage C nter Records did not find anything from Co.
Roscommon. They immigrated to East Hampton, Connecticut and no known other
Costello or Mulvihills in the area. Thanks

I am looking for the family of my grandparents James Harnett and Mary (Minnie)
Mulvihill of Daugh, County Kerry Ireland. I believe my mother's brother James
or John Harnett emigrated to Austrialia in the 1920's. My mother (Mary Margaret
Harnett Dob: October 1903). I was visiting Daugh, Ireland this summer and was

Fathers' older brother is William Eugene Mulvihill. Uncle Bill also has an
eldest son by the same name...we call him Billy. I know Uncle Bill took his
