POST HONORS WALMART

November 11, 2008

Post Commander Gus Williams joins Julie Carney of the Ladies Auxiliary in presenting Walmart officials with a plaque thanking the Derby store for their involvement in the Healing Field of Honor program held during the Summer of 2008.
The local Walmart store was a Gold Level Sponsor of the event held in June in Bushnell Park in Hartford.

CONNECTICUT RECOGNIZES 50 YEARS OF SERVICE

Walter Nizgorski was presented with a certificate from the Connecticut General Assembly in recognition of his 50 years as a member of the John H. Collins Post # 24.... Commander Williams made the presentation on behalf of State Rep Themis Klarides and State Senator Joe Crisco.... p>
