Carmen was born Tara Leigh Patrick on April 20, 1972. She is the youngest of five children and grew up in the small town of White Oak, near Cincinati Ohio.
She started getting her groove on at an early age. In fact, she won her first dance contest at the tendor age of 5, shaking to the Rod Stewart hit "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy." She was definetaly born to shake her rump!
At the age of 9, she began taking singing lessons and also began choreographing for her school theater. When she was 12, Carmen had her first orgasm. It was an accident on the high school bus that resulted from a pair of obscenely tight Calvin Klein jeans and the bus taking a few fortuitous bumps. Carmen recalls the incident by saying, "I just thought it was the most amazing feeling I felt in my life! Everyday I sat on the bus I'd try to repeat the same thing, but it would'nt happen again." If the two of us ever meet one day, she'll get a more amazing feeling than that, ya know what I mean?
Anyways, Carmen claims she was somewhat of a bully in school, and that she would just smile and get away with anything she did. Ya gotta love her smile! I'd let her pick on me anyday of the week!
She later attended the "School of Creative and Performing Arts." She would eventually move out to Minneapolis, less than an hour from where I live, to stay with her sister and half sister, and that's where she met Prince. While still a teenager, she went out to Los Angeles to audition of an all-girl rap group orchestrated by Prince. She didn't hear anything for two months and felt she hadn't made the band. "I felt very sad and rejected" Carmen remembers, "I thought for sure he (Prince) thought I wasn't talented enough." She got a call from Prince who asked her if she would be interested in recording a solo album. In early 1993, she realesed her album titled "Carmen Electra." She got the name Carmen Electra because Prince told her she looked like a Carmen and she chose Electra after a Goddess of Sex. She made a hell of a good choice. She's a Goddess to me!
Success had just begun for Ms. Electra. In May of 1996 she of course posed for Playboy. She also appears in Marchs 1997 Nude Celebrities issue and 1997s June issue. She appears in the Playboy video "Cheerleaders" where she sings a song called "2-4-6-8." I bought it and it was well worth it to see her. She's got a great singing voice! Carmen along with her dancers The Nightmare Creations performed at MTVs' 6th annual Rock n' Jock Basketball Game on October 26, 1996. She was also lead dancer during an addition of Saturday Night Live. She was a presenter during the 7th annual Billboard Music Awards on December 4, 1996 at the Aladdin Hotel In Las Vegas, and stars in Embrace, a comic book published by London Nights Studios in which she portrays a vampire.
From there, Carmen went on to become co-host of MTV's popular dating game show Singled Out, taking over for Jenny McCarthy for at least 65 episodes. I watched the show before, but when Carmen took over I'd never miss it! She began February 10, 1997. The show has been cancelled, but I've taped some episodes so I can watch her whenever! WOOOOOOO!
The New York Daily News reported in January of 1997 that Carmen would take over for Pamela Anderson Lee on Baywatch. In April, it turned out to be true as Carmen was given a five year contract with the show. I never miss Baywatch now! YIPPEEEE! Her first episode aired September 27, 1997.
Carmen made her big screen movie debut in the film Good Burger. She plays a seductress Roxanne who attempts to steal a secret sauce from a competing burger restaurant. She's only in it for around 7 minutes, but as long as I got to see her it was well worth it. SWEEEEEET! She looks great in it and does a terrific job.

Her relationship with B-Real of Cypress Hill has ended. He was suppose to be producer of Carmens next album. Even though her plans for her album may have been put in jeapardy, she has been working on it and recorded several demos. I'm guessing that if she has been in the recording studio this year, her new album will be complete some time this year.
Carmen made a starring role at MTVs 2nd annual Rock n Jock Football Game in January of 98' in San Diego. She was the referee and gave extra points based on how well a players victory dance was after a touchdown. How fitting! She also made a couple of appearances on MTVs Spring Break 98'. One was a brief appearance on House of Style. The second was her being guest host of The Grind. She sure was shakin if ya smell what the Ry Guy Rock is bakin!
It was rumored that Carmen was getting married to Dennis Rodman of the Chicago Bulls. Carmen was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno May 21, 1998 and denied that rumor. They may have gone out a couple times, but Carmen said they were just friends. Rodman appeared the next week and said he'll always be a single man. It doesn't seem like this is any kind of serious relationship at all. You can check out that interview and others as well in the Interviews section.
It appears Carmen along with five other Baywatch girls are leaving the show before the next season. Carmen will soon be starring in her own show on the WB Network. No word yet on when it is set to debut.
Carmens new 1999 calendar is now available, published by Playboy. I bought it back in August and have now uploaded the pics onto my site. They rock, so ya better check em out. Carmen also appeared in People Magazines Best and Worst Dressers of 98' Issue October 14. Unfortunately, she was named one of the worst. I still don't understand that. I love the way she dresses and think it's great that sometimes she chooses to wear different, outragous attire. I give her the honor of most wonderfully unique dresser. On another small note, Carmen was a bridesmaid at another former Baywatch star Traci Bingham's wedding in Iowa. She recently attended Kobe Bryant's Celebrity Bowling Party to help raise money for charity. Carmen said her role was to be " the distraction." She sure knows her role!
Carmen apppeared on the October 30 addition of MTVs Celebrity Deathmatch where she battled Jenny McCarthy in a bikini mudwrestling match with Howard Stern as the guest referee. Carmen layed the smack down pretty well on both Jenny and Howard, but in the end Jenny emerged victorious. That's O.K. though. Carmen will always be a winner to me! Carmen appeared on two episodes of Say What Karaoke on this years 2nd annual Sports and Music Festival. She was the style judge and looked great of course. She was the best damn judge that there ever was!
Carmen got married to Dennis Rodman on Saturday morning November 14 in Las Vegas. However, the two were said to have seperated that same day. Rodman's agent along with addentees at the wedding claimed the marriage was not legal because Rodman had been drunk. The marriage stood however. Surprisingly, just nine days later, Rodman filed annulment papers to end the marriage claiming that he was not in a clear frame of mind. He cited for "fraud and an unsound mind." Both Carmen and Dennis agreed to end the marriage just days after tying the knot. I feel very bad for Carmen and my thoughts and prayers go out for her and I hope she recovers soon from this unfortunate situation. Carmen was given an article in the December 21,1998 issue of People Magazine in which she talks about her relationship with Dennis Rodman along with some things she dealt with this past year. I thought it was very touching and I just want to wish her the best. As a matter of fact, it appears that the annulment ended and Carmen claims that she and Dennis are still married.
Carmen has now gone from one "Bay" to another. She is now starring on the WB drama series Hyperion Bay. She plays the role of "Sarah Hicks", the daughter of a computer mogul who will end up being the rival of the shows main character. She sure has been busy promoting her new gig! She's appeared as a guest on Conan, Regis & Kathie Lee, Howie Mandel, Howard Stern, The Daily Show, Donny & Marie, and who knows what else? Unfortunately, Hyperion Bay is being cancelled from the WB lineup because of poor ratings. The last show airs March 8.
Carmen made an appearance on MTV Celebrity Dream Date Valentines Day weekend. She looked absolutely wonderful of course, and also showed off her booty shakin talents. You couldn't ask for more! And also this spring she appeared as one of several celebs for a Star Wars special on MTV, where they all discussed the new flick. Carmen is currently scouting for acting and singing jobs.
