     Vegeta is one of the strongest fighters in the universe.  He was very strong jut like Goku as a child.  He always had to be the best, and this continues through the Dragonball Sagas.  He had heard about the Dragonballs from Raditz Scouter while Raditz was on earth.  He and his mentor Nappa went to earth to wish for eternal life by the dragonballs but in the process of fighting Piccolo they killed him and so Kami as well died.  The dragonballs  went and after his long and hard battle on earth, which he narrowly escaped, went on to Namek.  There he fought the Ginyu force and Freeza.  He starts to turn to the Z Fighters side later on.
          In Dragonball Z his battles were against Goku and the rest of the Z Fighters, The Ginyu Force, Zarbon, Dodoria, Freeza, Cell, and the many Buu's.  In Dragonball GT he fought the Cyborgs, Super 17(i think), and the evil Shenlongs.
