The Pakistan Student Community (PSC) was formed in 1993. Its first and foremost aim is to promote and to protect the name, image, culture and interests of Pakistan.Its secondary aim is to form a plateform on which pakistanis
can be united and from where they can work for their personal and collective betterment. It is there to channelize the ideas and efforts of the Pakistani students, help them in their ventures and to assist them in whatever way possible. The large number of Pakistani students at EMU had a potential which needed to be tapped and put to effective use, and so the Pakistan Students Community was founded. It is the largest and the only officially recognized Pakistani student organization in the country.

The respect and political strength the Pakistanis enjoy through this setup can be seen by the fact that our requirements and needs are virtually always catered to by the university. The PSC organizes sports, cultural and social activities in addition to saminars and conferences on issues like Kashmir and
about Pakistan in general. The Pakistan Student Community, in addition to its other activities, also helps the newly arrived freshmen by arranging for their housing and by alleviating any other problems which they may face due to their unfamiliarity with the place.
