I bought this car back in 1990 when i was in 8th grade, and it has gone through so many changes. ive been in many chases, had the window shot while doing over 100mph. I've painted it at least three times, It is now dark blue, not black. ive done too much to list, but my latest, I did away with the leafs by putting a 4 link rear suspension in it. the car weighed 3100lbs before all steel. Now I have a fiberglass hood and bumpers, and I cut the entire back half of the car out, I added a rear frame, 8 pt roll cage made of chromoly to cut down on weight. The car ran a best of 12.6 with the possi , at 106 mph before all this. that was with stock chassis and 3.08 gears. i shouldnt lose as much power through my chassis, and hook alot better. its only going to be mini tubbed, I built my own ford 9" rear end, welded the axle tubes on and narowed. It will be a 10" tire car. but if i got the right rim i could still run 15 wide on it.

here is what I did, this was no kit, and every part of it was built by me, I made the 4-link bars, made of chromoly. the frame rails were pre-bent.

here it was spring (2000), in the midst of my mess.

-Winter/spring 2002- Slowly coming together, i have everything for it except ambition. Sheetmetal work to do, i have one wheel tub in. then just all the finishing stuff, brakes, fuel system, and what not.
