The Tasmanian Devil "TAZ" found his debut in the 1954 movie "Devil May Hare". This youngster did not do well in the opening act and was not seen for a number of years after that. After many years TAZ was back in the screens chasing Bugs Bunny once again. Mel Blanc was hired to do the voice of TAZ, since there is no known sound for a Tazmanian Devil, Mel was free to develope his own stlye for TAZ. Mel developed the ferocious sounds and voice that would bring the true TAZ charcter to life.
