BISHOPS FINISH  AS STATE RUNNER-UP

The BDHS Boys Basketball recently concluded an outstanding season and finished as "A" Runner-Up.  The 23-3 season held numerous highlights including: *Being undefeated at home *Winning the Mason-Dixon Regular Season Championship *Winning the Mason-Dixon Tournament with a Victory over ranked Notre Dame *Grabbing the Sectional title vs Wheeling Central after earning the first round Sectinal bye. *Beating Valley for the third time this season to earn the Regional crown. *Handing #4 seed Tucker County a loss in the first round of the State Tournament *Beating #1 Gilbert (the only undefeated team in the state) in the  Semi-Finals.

HALL OF FAME WELCOMES NEWEST MEMBERS ... Four B.D.H.S. Alumni and a loyal supporter will be inducted in the HALL OF FAME on March 24th, 2007.   The Hall  recognizes the outstanding achievements and long-term commitment of Bishop Donahue High School alumni.  The ceremony will be held in the Fr. Raymond Jablinske Gymnasium on March 24th beginning at 6:30 p.m.  The honorees for the 2007 induction are Frank Yankovich, `82; Anne Fox, `71; Lynn Pucharich Cook, `75 and Patrick Durkin, `75.  A special recognition award will be given to Mrs. Katherine Twigg Long, a lifelong friend of Bishop Donahue High School who has been a visible witness to the students and community through her dedication and selfless giving.
