High School: Four-year letter-winner in baseball for coach Tony Wolfe at Buford High School....Led Buford to back-to-back State Final Four appearances and a pair of region championships in 2005 and 2006....A three-time all-county and all-area honoree and named Super Six in 2006 and 2007 by the Gwinnett County Dugout Club....also an all-county academic honoree as a senior....presented with 2007 "Most Valuable Offensive Player" award for the 17-18 year-old age group at the annual East Cobb Baseball Banquet....holds the Buford career records in average (.498), hits, RBI and doubles....Set Buford single-season records with a .534 average, 55 hits and 50 RBI his junior year....also won seven games as a pitcher in 2006....as a sophomore in 2005, hit .520 (51-for-98) with 44 runs scored, 14 doubles, three triples, two home runs, 31 RBI, eight stolen bases and just seven strikeouts to go with 5-0 record in eight pitching appearances along with a 1.97 ERA, 20 strikeouts and four walks in 21.3 innings pitched....selected to the Georgia Dugout Club Top 80 Showcase in 2005....played for Team Georgia in the Sunbelt Classic in summer of 2006....played in the Georgia Dugout Club All-Star tournament in 2007 going 6-for-11 with three walks and seven RBI to help the East Atlanta team to the championship of the event along with working 3.1 scoreless innings during the tourney, including 2.1 innings in the Gold Medal game....a four-year letter-winner in basketball and a three-year letter-winner in football....Team captain of the Buford football team his senior season....Earned honorable mention all-area honors in basketball in 2006....Four-year member of the honor roll....Member of the French Club, Beta Club and National Honor Society....played for East Cobb Yankees during summer of 2007.
