Former scholarship running back for Tech football squad who joins the baseball team on a full-time basis for the 2008 season....Regarded as one of the top baseball prospects in Texas during high school....Selected to 2004 Class 5A All-State team by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association....Has good power potential from both sides of the plate along with "plus" speed.

2006: Did not see action while splitting time between baseball and spring football practice.

2005: Collected first collegiate hit with an RBI single vs. Virginia Tech 5/14....named to the 49th annual Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Four-year letter-winner at Spring High School....Posted a .525 batting average as a senior, with nine home runs, 43 RBI and 24 stolen bases....A three time All-state honoree....Named to the All-State team by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association....Named the Houston Area Baseball Coaches Association All-Star team....First team all-district as a sophomore, junior and senior....Received the Spring Lions Baseball "Scholastic Achievement" Award with a 4.7 GPA....Two-time member of the Texas Rangers Area Code team....Played in the North/South game at Minute Maid Park in Houston his junior and senior year.
