2007: Season debut delayed while recovering from knee surgery....Saw first duty with start against Atlanta Braves 2/28 and worked a scoreless inning which included a strikeout of Edgar Renteria....faced first collegiate competition 3/2 in relief vs. Rutgers....joined weekend rotation as Saturday starter in all four ACC series in March....earned the win allowing just one run in six innings against Boston College 3/17....did not allow an earned run in seven inning outing at Duke 3/24....sidelined for three weeks at the start of April....returned to mound and took the loss as starter against Georgia 4/24 at Turner Field....sat out the remainder of the season with sore elbow.

2006: Returned to mound with a 1-2-3 inning of relief 4/4 vs. Georgia Southern....earned a win in his first career start against South Florida 5/6 working five innings and allowing two runs on two hits....picked up his second win while coming out of the bullpen against second-ranked Clemson in the ACC Tournament....selected by St. Louis Cardinals in 45th round of June Draft....pitched for Orleans Cardinals of Cape Cod League during summer.

2005: Missed entire season following Tommy John elbow surgery in fall of 2004.

2004: One of Tech's key relievers....turned in eight consecutive scoreless relief outings to begin collegiate career....Earned a win in his first collegiate appearance against Georgia Southern 2/15 by working 1.1 scoreless innings as Tech won 5-4 in the 10th....Earned a save in his second outing against Villanova 2/20 by working 1.2 shutout innings and fanning three....Struck out the side against Western Carolina 3/9 in a perfect ninth inning for his second save of the year....Earned his third save by tossing two perfect innings with three strikeouts against Purdue 3/17....Struggled in four appearances in late March and early April, allowing 12 runs in 3.1 innings after allowing just two runs on six hits in his first 12 innings, spanning 10 appearances....Bounced back in his last four outings, working 5.2 innings and allowing just one run....Credited with the win in Tech's 11-7, 13-inning win over Clemson in the ACC Tournament, working 2.2 innings and allowing one run....Also saw spot duty as a second baseman....Pitched for the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod League during the summer, posting a 2-0 record and a 1.32 ERA.

High School: A four-year letter-winner for coach Mickey McMurtry at Lassiter High School....Played second base, shortstop and center field in addition to his role as a pitcher....Starter for Lassiter's nationally-ranked team since his freshman year, and helped the team reach the Georgia state finals in two of his four years....Posted an 8-1 record and a 1.29 ERA as a senior, striking out 75 batters in 65 innings....did not allow an earned run over the first 32 innings of 2003 campaign....gained win in relief as Lassiter beat Parkview at Turner Field 5/13/2003....also batted .301 with 11 stolen bases....Spent the summer of 2003 with the East Cobb Yankees and went 7-1 with a 1.83 ERA, tossing three shutouts, and hit .377 with three home runs and 41 RBI in 151 at bats....earned spot on all-tournament team for 2003 Connie Mack World Series at Farmington, N.M.....struck out 10 in a complete game effort as the East Cobb Yankees advanced to the championship round of the C.M.W.S. with a 5-1 victory against the North Central Michigan Cobras....Named the Cobb County Pitcher of the Year in 2003 by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Marietta Daily Journal....Selected to the Greater Atlanta High School All-Star Team by the Braves 400 Club....Helped the East Cobb Yankees win the 2003 Connie Mack World Series, and was selected to the World Series all-tournament team.
