Enrolled at Tech in Fall of 2006 after spending one year at Middle Georgia Junior College....Physically gifted outfielder that continues to refine his skills....Has tremendous power and speed and possesses a strong throwing arm....Selected in the 33rd round by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft, but elected to attend college.

2007: Did not play while being red-shirted.

Junior College: Spent 2006 season playing for coach Craig Young at Middle Georgia JC.

High School: A two-year letter-winner for coach Billy Nicholson at Centennial, where he played center field....Hit .411 with 12 doubles and seven home runs during his senior year....Holds the Centennial record for career stolen bases (46)....Set single-season marks for runs scored (31) and stolen bases (31) in his final season....Helped the Knights to the region championships during his sophomore season....Member of the All-America East Team in 2005....Participated in The 2005 All-American Game in Albuquerque....Also played three years of football at Centennial.

Personal: Michael James Klindt....Born April 25, 1987....Son of Mike Klindt and Karen Klindt....Father played basketball at the Air Force Academy from 1965-69 before remaining as a coach from 1969-72....Grandfather played fast-pitch softball for Dow A.C. from 1947-52 and helped guide his team to the 1950 World Championships....Majoring in Management.
