2007: Member of 2007 All-ACC Academic Baseball Team and ACC Academic Honor Roll....began season serving primarily as Tech's designated hitter before assuming regular duties at first base 3/11....batted .320 during month of February and .324 in March....slipped to .265 during April and .209 during May....collected four hits and four RBI vs. Maryland 3/31....belted first collegiate home run 4/6 at Miami to begin a season-best six-game hitting streak....went 3-for-10 with five RBI during ACC Tournament including home run vs. NC State 5/26....played for Duluth Huskies of Northwoods League during summer....missed the final weeks of the summer season due to an injured wrist....awarded 2007 Northwoods League Silver Glove Award....led the circuit in fielding percentage for first basemen with a .990 percentage while making only three errors all summer.

High School: Four year letter-winner for coach Mike Shaheen at Wesleyan School....Holds the Wesleyan career records in seven offensive categories, including home runs, average (.449) and RBI (131)....Also holds single season marks in doubles (13) and slugging percentage (1.000)....Hit over .450 in each of his last three years in high school....Led Wesleyan to the state championship game in 2006 and the state semifinals in 2004....First-team All-Gwinnett County pick and member of Team Georgia in his junior and senior years....only Class AA player on Team Georgia in 2005....Named Georgia Dugout Club AA Co-Player of the Year in 2006 and all-county from 2004-06....MVP of the East Cobb Titans in 2004....Also earned three letters in football at Wesleyan as a tight end and quarterback....Set Gwinnett County passing records with 3,069 yards and 29 touchdowns in his first and only year at quarterback.
