2006-2007: Served as assistant coach at Indiana....accepted position as assistant coach at Tech 7/5/2007.

2005-2006: Joined Tech staff as a volunteer assistant coach in Fall of 2005....accepted assistant coaching position at Indiana University 7/6/2006.

2004: Returned to Class A Potomac (Carolina League) for fourth season of pro ball....went 5-for-6 with a double and a homer 7/7 at Winston-Salem....retired from baseball 7/27 and returned to Atlanta.

2003: Activated from disabled list by Class A Potomac 4/15 and played in 47 games.

2002: Assigned to Class A Dayton (Midwest League)....placed on disabled list 8/10 (broken finger)....returned to action 8/27.

2001: First-team All-ACC catcher....Homered and drove in four runs vs. Nebraska 2/11....limited to designated hitter duties during early March by strained right elbow ligaments....named ACC Player of the Week 3/5 after going 11-for-21 (.524) with three home runs and 10 RBI in games against Oakland and Rutgers....hit safely in career-high 18 consecutive outings (35-for-77, .455) 2/21 to 3/23 including four hit games vs. Oakland 2/27, N.C. State 3/11 and Georgia State 3/13....capped nine-game hitting streak with 4-for-5 outing vs. Florida State 4/29....named to the Dean's List for spring semester....signed professional contract 6/8 after being selected in the 10th Round (306 overall) by Cincinnati Reds....assigned to Class A Billings (Pioneer League).

2000: Tri-captain for junior season....first-team All-ACC selection....named Most Valuable Player of NCAA Atlanta Regional going 9-for-14 with seven runs scored and seven RBI....spent summer with Orleans Cardinals of the Cape Cod League.

1999: Began the season as Tech's primary backup catcher, but played mostly first base and DH with only two starts behind the plate....Missed 16 games due to a knee injury during the middle of the season, and went 6-for-28 after his return....Helped Tech on its late-season surge by going 4-for-11 with seven RBI in wins at Mercer and Georgia on May 11-12....Drove in a career-high five runs at Mercer on May 11....Went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI, including a key two-run single in the eighth, in Tech's come-from-behind victory against Kent on March 21....Had four three-hit games....Doubled twice, driving in three, in the Jackets' seven-run sixth inning at Georgia Southen on Feb. 14....Tech was 23-9 when Prince was in the starting lineup, and 17-5 when he batted cleanup, but only 15-11 when he did not play....Hit .303-3-25 as Tech's DH....Drove in runners from third base with less than two out 17 of 20 times, and had 13 two-out RBI....Hit only 3-for-25 in ACC games during the regular season....ACC Tournament: hit safely in all three games (4-for-12, HR, two RBI)....Played for Orleans in the Cape Cod League during the summer.

1998: Played first and third base and was used as a DH....Was Tech's hottest hitter entering the ACC Tournament, his season average climbed to .337 at the end of the season, third on the team and best among Tech's freshmen....Started the final five regular season games in place of injured Eric McQueen, and batted .474 (9-19) with seven RBI and five runs scored....Caught one game and started four altogether in the NCAA Midwest Regional, hitting .357 (5-for-14)....Batted .342 in ACC games with four home runs and 18 RBI....Blasted two key ninth inning home runs in ACC play to propel the Jackets to victories - a game-tying grand slam during Tech's 12-run ninth at N.C. State on April 4, and then a solo shot to break a 2-2 tie at Maryland on May 9....Also hit a three-run, first-inning homer the following day in 12-3 win over the Terps....Started a total of 15 games behind the plate, as well as six games at first, four at third and 16 as the DH....Missed the first six games of the season after undergoing an appendectomy.

High School: Rated as the No. 48 high school prospect by Baseball America in January 1997....An all-Tri-State selection by the Chattanooga Times....Had his number retired at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School in Fort Oglethorpe....Lettered four times for coach Wendell Clowers, while also lettering twice in basketball and once in football....Played for the North Georgia All-Star Team....Selected All-North Georgia in each of his four seasons in high school....A Superteam selection by the Chattanooga Free Press....Set the career and single season home run records at his school....Hit .553 with 12 home runs and 42 RBI during his senior season.
