2009: Released by Texas in January.

2008: Made one relief appearance for Texas Rangers during Major League Spring Training....assigned to Class A Clinton (Midwest League) to begin season....placed on disabled list 6/15....reactivated 6/26....made 38 appearances on the season, all in relief....went 3-0 with one save and a 2.04 ERA in eight appearances during month of July....limited left-handed hitters to just a .203 batting average.

2007: No. 3 starter in Tech rotation....among 30 players nominated nationally for Lowe's Senior CLASS Award....picked up the win in back-to-back starts 3/25 at Duke and 4/1 vs. Maryland as well as 4/29 at Clemson and 5/7 at South Florida....issued just two walks over 33.2 innings from 3/11 to 4/22, including four straight starts without a walk 4/1 to 4/22....matched career-high with six strikeouts over six innings in 5/7 effort....selected in 45th Round (1337th overall) of June Draft by Texas Rangers....signed professional contract 6/12....picked up his first professional win with 2.2 inning relief stint in 10-inning victory over AZL Brewers 7/21....did not issue a walk over his first 26.2 innings of work as a pro....overall, struck out 30 while walking only one batter in 27 innings on mound....Member of the 2007 ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2006: Member of All-ACC Academic Baseball team....primarily saw duty as mid-week starter and long reliever....worked a career-long 8.1 innings to earn the win over Vanderbilt (6/4) in the championship game of the NCAA Atlanta Regional, allowing just four runs on eight hits while striking out six....Named to the all-tournament team for the NCAA Atlanta Regional....again pitched for Brewster of Cape Cod League during summer.

2005: Took over No. 3 spot in weekend rotation on May 1 after beginning season as the primary mid-week starter....earned win in first start of season with five shutout innings at Georgia State 2/23....allowed just two earned runs over his final 19 innings of work during regular season including seven shutout innings at North Carolina 5/20....named to the 49th annual Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll....pitched for Brewster Whitecaps of Cape Cod League during summer.

2004: Made 15 appearances, including four starts, and posted a 1-2 record....Struck out the side in a scoreless inning in his collegiate debut at Georgia Southern 2/15....Earned his first career win in his second start working seven innings and allowing three runs on six hits along with five strikeouts and no walks 3/9 vs. Western Carolina....Made four mid-week starts against Auburn, Western Carolina, Purdue and Georgia State after three relief appearances to start the season....Allowed just one run in his last six appearances in relief....Pitched for Keene Swampbats of New England Collegiate Baseball League during the summer....went 3-0 with 0.82 ERA during his first three starts in July including a nine-inning, two-hit shutout 7/14 vs. Sanford....overall, was 5-0 with a 1.24 ERA in 43.2 innings....rated as the No. 8 prospect in the NECBL by Baseball America.

High School: A four-year letter-winner for coach Phil Price at Lumpkin County High School as a pitcher, first baseman and outfielder....An all-area selection by the Gainesville Times in 2002 and 2003....Went 8-1 with a 0.90 ERA as a junior, striking out 109 batters in 57 innings and tossed a no-hitter....Spent the summers of 2002 and 2003 with the Ohio Warhawks....Also lettered four years in basketball as a point guard....MVP of the basketball team in 2003 and an all-area selection....An honors graduate.
