Switch-hitting middle infielder with good speed....Former high school shortstop who spent the majority of the fall at second base competing for the starting job that was vacated with the graduation of Mike Trapani.

2007: Saw regular duty at second base making 28 starts....also started 2/25 game vs. Duquesne at third base....hit safely in first five games of the season (7-for-21) while collecting five RBI....also posted six-game hitting streak 3/25 to 4/1....drove in game-deciding run with suicide squeeze bunt in top of the 11th inning 4/13 at Virginia....tied a school record with two triples vs. Georgia 4/24 at Turner Field....sidelined following that game by a broken bone in his foot....missed final 16 games of the season....played in three games for Cotuit Kettleers of Cape Cod Baseball League to begin summer before joining Green Bay Bullfrogs of Northwoods League 6/22.

High School: Rated as the No. 254 high school prospect in the nation and No. 2 in the state of South Carolina by Perfect Game USA....Spent two years at Hilton Head Christian Academy and a year at Hilton Head High before graduating from Heritage Academy....completed his prep eligibility by driving in a team-high 25 runs to lead Hilton Head High School to the 2005 AAAA Region Championship and a school-record 22 wins....hit a combined .389 in his high school career....named to the USSSA all-tournament team and also participated in the East Coast Professional Showcase during summer of 2005....spent time training in Puerto Rico in 2005 and 2006....played for the Savannah Chain 18U during summer of 2006....picked up co-MVP honors as the Chain won the Perfect Game Baseball Championship Series Southeast Regional at the East Cobb Baseball Complex in Marietta....SCISA AAA Baseball All-State Honoree in 2003....Member of the National Honor Society, a Leadership Council Officer, and president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes....Also played two years of basketball at Hilton Head Christian Academy.
