2007: Took loss in collegiate debut as starter 2/21 vs. Georgia State....went on to make 12 more appearances, all in relief over remainder of season....worked 1-2-3 ninth inning to finish off 3/28 victory over Georgia Southern....struck out four of eight batters faced in relief while flashing 96 mph fastball vs. Georgia 4/24 at Turner Field....worked three scoreless innings in longest outing of season 5/19 vs. Florida State....pitched once again for Duluth Huskies of Northwoods League during summer....selected to pitch for the North Division at the Northwoods League All-Star Game 7/11 at Mankato, Minn....named to Northwoods League post-season All-Star Team....also rated as No. 3 prospect in Northwoods League by Baseball America....Member of the 2007 ACC Academic Honor Roll.

More 2006: Selected in the 38th round of the June Draft by the Washington Nationals....needed just 89 pitches to retire all 24 batters he faced, including nine strikeouts, but he was not involved in the decision in June 9 outing as Cedar Falls High School lost to Iowa City 8-2 in 11 innings....overall, posted a 5-2 record with 0.88 ERA....in 63.2 innings pitched, allowed just eight earned runs while striking out 81, walking nine and limiting opponents to a .151 batting average against him....also hit .282 with 28 RBI....Joined Duluth Huskies of Northwoods League following completion of high school career.
