2008: Participated in Major League Spring Training as a non-roster invitee....assigned to Class A Frederick (Carolina League) to begin first full season of pro ball....homered twice in season opener 4/4 vs. Lynchburg....named Carolina League Player of the Week for April 4-13....also selected as Player of the Month for April in the Orioles' organization....again named Carolina League Player of the Week for May 5-11 after going 8-for-19 with three home runs and four RBI in six games....named Carolina League Player of the Month for May after going 32-for-95 (.337) with seven home runs and 18 RBI in 27 games....selected to play in the California/Carolina League All-Star Game on June 24 in Myrtle Beach....promoted to Class AA Bowie (Eastern League) 6/27....led Carolina League in home runs (15) and ranked second in batting average (.345) at the time of his promotion....went just 3-for-14 in June to begin stint with Bowie....improved to .389-6-25 in 29 games during month of July....ended season riding a 12-game hitting streak....helped Bowie to first post-season berth since 1997....threw out 37 of the 92 runners (40%) that attempted stolen bases against him overall during season....named Minor League Player of the Year as well as top prospect for bot the Carolina League and the Eastern League by Baseball America....Brooks Robinson Minor League Player of the Year award winner for Orioles organization....assigned to Surprise Rafters of Arizona Fall League....played in AFL Rising Stars Showcase 10/24.

2007: Team co-captain and only player to start all 57 games....First-team All-America catcher by Baseball America....First-team All-ACC catcher....one of three finalists for the 2007 Johnny Bench Award....semi-finalist for the USA Baseball Golden Spikes Award....went hitless in season-opening series at Georgia Southern 2/10-11....belted a three-run game-ending home run in the bottom of the 10th while gaining the win in relief 2/13 vs. Kennesaw State....hit safely in 10 straight games 2/13 to 3/2....homered twice while driving in six runs 3/10 vs. Virginia Tech....led the Yellow Jackets in home runs (10), RBI (59), total bases (129) and slugging percentage (.592) in 2007 and led all ACC catchers in slugging percentage, on base percentage, home runs per game (0.18), walks per game (0.90), and total bases per game (2.26).... also finished his junior season ranked tied for sixth in the Tech career record books with 54 doubles, seventh with 198 RBI and 16 saves, 13th in average (.359) and total bases (418), tied for 16th with 35 home runs and 18th with 253 hits in his three years on the Flats....taken by the Baltimore Orioles with the fifth pick of the June Draft....agreed to $6,000,000 bonus to sign with Orioles 8/15....officially inked contract 8/23 and reported to Class A Aberdeen (New York-Penn League)....assigned to Honolulu Sharks of Hawaii Winter Baseball league for actual professional debut.

2006: First-team All-America selection at catcher by Baseball America....also second-team All-ACC catcher....NCAA Division I state co-player of the year selection by the Georgia Dugout Club....one of 30 semifinalists for the Brooks Wallace College Player of the Year Award....started every game and led team with 15 home runs and 71 RBI despite being walked 56 times....also led team with seven saves....collected new career-best seven RBI in game one of doubleheader 4/9 at Virginia Tech....named Most Outstanding Player of NCAA Atlanta Regional after batting .889 with three home runs and six RBI while reaching base in 14-of-15 plate appearances in three victories....also posted two saves during regional....went 2-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored in Tech's final game of the College World Series against Cal State Fullerton 6/18....Overall, hit .560 (14-for-25) with five homers, 10 RBI, 12 runs, nine walks, and one HBP in seven NCAA Tournament games....played for Orleans Cardinals of Cape Cod Baseball League during summer....selected as starting designated hitter for the East in the 44th annual Cape Cod League All-Star Game....winner of the Robert A. McNeece Outstanding Pro Prospect Award, voted on by the Major League scouts who cover the Cape Cod League....rated No. 3 among Cape Cod prospects by Baseball America....overall, finished second in the Cape Cod League in batting (.307), homers (eight) and on-base percentage (.417) while walking 23 times and striking out just 20 times.

2005: ACC Rookie of the Year as well as a first-team All-Conference selection as Utility Player/DH....first team Freshman All-America choice as DH by Baseball America....Shared time behind the plate with veteran Andy Hawranick along with seeing action as a designated hitter, reliever and first baseman....Did not allow an earned run over first six pitching appearances, including 3.2 innings of scoreless relief to get first win 3/1 vs. Georgia Southern....went 5-for-5 with a grand slam and a total of six RBI 3/6 at Duke....overall, went 12-for-14 with home run and nine RBI as well as nine straight hits in Duke series to gain ACC Player of the Week honors for 2/28 - 3/6....again went 5-for-5 with four RBI at Miami 3/26....hit two-run homer to give Tech the lead in the top of the ninth, then moved to the mound to get the save 3/27 at Miami....named ACC Player of the Week for 3/21 - 3/27....hit go-ahead three-run homer (audio)and later worked ninth inning to get save 4/15 vs. Florida State....went 4-for-4 with a home run and five RBI vs. Georgia 4/20....played for USA Baseball National Team during summer tour batting .273 with three home runs and nine RBI in 17 games.

Summer 2004: Participated in the All-American Baseball Game on June 7 at Isotopes Park in Albuquerque, N.M. as well as the SC/NC Challenge game on June 12 at Conway, S.C....Played for Carolina Diamond Devils claiming co-MVP honors at the 18-and-under Perfect Game/Wood World Bat Association Summer Championship during mid-July in Marietta after hitting .400 (10-for-25) while also recording two saves and showing a 94-mph fastball.

High School: A four-year letter-winner for coach John Chalus at Stratford High School as a catcher and pitcher....Rated as the No. 1 prospect in South Carolina and No. 60 in the nation....An all-America, all-state and all-region selection in 2004....Hit. 407 with seven home runs and 34 RBI as a senior....Tossed six inning no-hitter against defending state Class AAAA champion Summerville 3/10/04....Ranks in Stratford's career top 10 in RBI, walks, hits and total bases....On the mound, went 5-2 with a 2.76 ERA, recording 72 strikeouts in 51 innings....Ranked No. 32 among pre-season Top 100 College and High School Prospects for the 2004 June Draft by Baseball America.
