Recently, using Google, I discovered a website (http://oocities.com/bible_translation) within which there was a hotlink directing me to the webpage of anti-[KJV-only] Gary R. Hudson and a hotlink directing me to the webpage of anti-Riplinger Mark A. McNeil (Houston TX) and anti-Waite Bob L. Ross related to pilgrimpub@aol.com.

Mr. Hudson defended the non-literal-translation Nida/Kohlenberger-favored dynamic-equivalent New International Version which Riplinger exposed because of crucial NIV word omissions and word changes against vital exact wording in certain Bible-verse passages of the King James Version.

McNeil - striving in 1994 to acquire his "ph.d." [in Anti-Bible Heresy and Condemnatory Judgmentalism], mercilessly attacked Riplinger because of a few mistakes she made in a few of her Bible-translation-comparison charts.

It is inconsequential to McNeil that certain KJV-present words omitted in certain modern-version verses appear elsewhere in other verses within those modern versions. Thus, according to McNeil's stupidity concerning that, if he was constructing a human body, the penis could just as well be placed between the eyes and the mouth as much as down at the crotch. And as far as switching names of Christ and Jesus and Lord around which some non-KJV texts do, McNeil might be quite content with putting the breasts of a woman on her back instead of on her front.

Mr. McNeil condones the brevity of shortened texts in limited-occurrence "older" manuscripts cited (as contrasted with Antioch-through-Middle-Ages-through-Renaissance-monk-transcribed even-older-but-not-cited manuscripts plus early-church-father references to such papyri-and-parchments-containing autograph-true Text) by mis-asserting that "the TENDANCY [note the legal-escape sneaky word!] was for scribes to add explanatory words to the text rather than delete them."

To McNeil, it does not matter if variant texts differ. Piss in the pop and poop in the pudding appear OK to him, and why try to discriminatingly distinguish which is which?

Finally, McNeil illogically did not differentiate between the world being prepared for the Antichrist by NIV-type bibles vs. the not-yet-here Antichrist himself allegedly promoting new-age bibles.

Mark A. McNeil showed his satanic-heresy proclivity by also warning us to reject the truthful and academically-honorable works of David Otis Fuller, Samuel Gipp, Donald A. Waite, William P. Grady, Edward F. Hills, Jasper James Ray, Charles Salliby, etc. Clearly, the LORD and His saints reject Mark A. McNeil now and probably will continue to reject him hereafter.

A point of clarification needs to be made here about some inadequacy of the generally-quite-accurate KJV:

The Elizabethan and Chaucerian thees, thous, thys, and -eth word endings were common during that now-archaic period of human history, but are not common nowadays. The plural of you archaically represented by ye should now instead be rendered you all (or for southern comfort: y'all).

To call the holy Lord as well as an evil thief or wicked murderer a "thee, thou," or "thy" might sound like one is "honoring all men" including the Lord as we are told to do by certain limited-context Scripture verses (pertaining particularly to thieves and murderers?), but one questions whether or not worthless scoundrels - who are destined to be [lethally] executed and/or burned in Hades - should be given such honorable designation. And though using a Thou or Thy or Thine besmacks of honor to and when addressing God in prayer, are the contemporary words You or Your or Yours any less personal and respectful in reality?

The meaning of the old KJV word conversation is certainly no longer synonymous with the modern word conduct.....as only one of many examples. The KJV euphemism of I Cor. 6:9 stating "abusers of themselves with mankind" is in all honesty so vague and overbroad one simply would not be able to "read between the lines" to the extent of limiting it to the Greek word arsenokoitai which only and always means: sodomites. [For instance, one could hit his own face with his nearby-neighbor's hammer while with him and thus be "abusing himself with mankind," let alone womankind]. And the Greek-Text word for passover in the book of Acts is not correctly translated as KJV's "Easter" (no matter WHAT Herod might or might not have said according to presumed rumor).
