East of Scotland League

Scottish Alliance

Scottish Combination

Formed in 1930, most of the original members came from the East of Scotland League. Edinburgh City left for the Scottish League after one season, but they placed their reserves in the competition for the next two years. Thirteen clubs entered the 1933-4 championship, but by the next season,  numbers had dropped to only five.  Rosyth won the last competiton in 1935 after which the league folded. Leith Amateurs and Murrayfield Amateurs both returned to the East of Scotland League, while Bo’ness helped form the short-lived Scottish Combination.
