Carrie Cup

Northern League

This competition ran as a league from 1897 to 1901, with the last three seasons from 1901 to 1904 seeing it operated as a knockout tournament with the winners being awarded the Carrie Cup. Six sides entered in the 1901-02 season. The competition was also played in 1909-10, also on league basis. It was won by Dundee Hibernian (their first honour) and also featured Arbroath, Montrose, Dundee Wanderers and Forfar Athletic.
