Inter City League

Formed originally in 1895 this was one of several 'supplementary leagues' that were created in order to increase the number of fixtures for Scottish League clubs. The original league disbanded in 1899 when its clubs joined with Heart of Midlothian and Hibernian to form the Inter City League. It was reformed in 1904 but this version lasted for only two seasons.
