overview |
This Wigtownshire League was played during two
seasons from 1923 to 1925. Because of the large number of cup competitions
being played at this time, it was impossible for the members clubs to fulfill
their fixtures, and the league was wound up after two unfinished seasons.
Despite this, Stranraer, St Cuthbert Wanderers and Newton Stewart still
managed to play some matches in the Southern Counties League that was played
during 1924-25. |
