"We" are a Group of private Historians, Journalists and interested privat people, exploring (mainly) underground systems of WW II, mostly build by prisoners and slave workers. We have no political interests. Some of the results are collected and published by Harry in these sites. Responsible for the Internet is Harry.

In the beginnings of the research we were wondering, how poor the archival situation about many such workingplaces was (In the example OHRDRUF the different sources count from 10000 up to 20000 inmates of the camp). Before the survivors of those who were forced to build these installations all die, we want to build a historical record of their suffering and of the purpose of their labors. So we established these sites. In the future we will build up these as a centre for onlineresearch, relating to

Underground Systems, build end of WW II
Workingplaces of prisoners
Slave working
Armament production by slaveworkers
and so on, including online all German workcamps and outcamps with descriptions and images.

In the past, I became some requests relating missed relatives, working in the described camps. If you have also requests, you can contact the Red Cross, International Trading Service.
Because it is sometimes difficult, to do such research from outside Germany, you can also contact me; I will do the bureaucracy for you. If there are not to many requests, there are no costs.
