1)** M.E. and F.M. can be very
frustrating illnesses. You will help others
who have these illnesses by making the general
population regard M.E. and F.M. as legitimate
disabilities.

2)** Skim over this manual every 6 months to
refresh your memory on what is contained in it.
Your circumstances, symptoms, cycles, finances,
memory and concentration will probably have
changed. The "M.E. & F.M. Manual" will be
updated yearly so get on the mailing list.

3)** Look through the 14 locations of the
"M.E./F.M. Library Materials", which will be
updated yearly. The next issue (#5) will be
published in the spring of 1996.

4)** Internet. The Table of Contents and Index
for the "M.E./F.M. Manual" will be posted on the
Internet in the near future.

5)** Go to a support group, or call the leader,
to keep in touch on special events. Help out in
any way you are able.

6)** Join M.E.B.C. or F.M.B.C. to keep
informed about current information.

7)** With the help of the 33 readers, I glean the
best information from many world-wide sources
(magazines, newletters, etc). I need your help for
the many tid-bits I may miss.

8)** Plan, pace, prioritize - the best lifestyle to
practice when you have either M.E. or F.M.

9)** Keep trying new therapies in order to find
some relief.

11) ** Most people do recover to a
certain degree from M.E. or F.M. over a
varying length of time. Keep your hopes up.

12)** Most people who fight for their rights do
eventually win in the end.

13)** Use the benefits you are entitled to.

14)** You are a part of society, and you
deserve help, not more problems on top of the
ones you already have.

15)** Keep your chin up and do the best
you can with what you have. I wish each of you
the best as we struggle together to learn to live
with M.E. and F.M.
