Welcomes You!

My counter indicates you are visitor number.

Welcome to my personal web page. I am 31 years old, born and raised in southern California and living in Seattle, Washington since 1988. After working for a well known environmental group and then a social service agency, I chose to attend The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, USA where I earned a B.A. in Political Economy.

I then graduated from law school at the University of Washington in 1998. I am past President/Representative of the U.W. Law Student Division of the American Bar Association. I worked for the Washington State Attorney General's Office for eighteen months and currently work for Local 17 of the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, write a column for the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association newspaper Trial News. I freelance write for various magazines, and donate my computer services to non-profits.

I publish an electronic human rights magazine called Social Justice with my wife Kim. The e-mail version of Social Justice goes out to 10,000 people in 100 countries. Its stories are then re-broadcast on radio stations throughout the english-speaking world (not bad for a hobby!). The web version receives a fair amount of traffic. I have created a Progressive Law Student Web Page and a Political Economy Web Page.

Thanks for visiting.

"If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation are people who want crops without plowing the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. That struggle might be a moral one; it might be a physical one; it might be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and never will. People might not get all that they work for in this world, but they must certainly work for all they get. .....Frederick Douglass
