Appearance: Colby is quite small and thin, looking as though he never gets enough to eat (which isn't true-quite the opposite, in fact). He has creamy, freckled skin and striking dark blue eyes. His hair is a plain shade of brown, with a tendency to frizz, that hangs to his shoulders.
Other Form: Colby's other form is a normal, everyday domestic dog. Looking like a cross between a golden retriever and a german shepherd, he has very thick and shaggy gold and grey fur. He's able to initate the change anytime, and does so quite often.
Personality: Colby has a very...doglike personality. Good-tempered and friendly, he's very affectionate and always cheerful and in a good mood. It takes a lot to upset him or provoke him, but he's also loyal and protective of his friends. He's very outgoing, loves to meet people, and has a nearly-legendary appetite.
Past: Colby's spent his entire life in various orphanages and foster homes. Despite the constant shifts growing up, though, he doesn't seem to have suffered any ill effects, given his outgoing personality. He's been at the current orphanage for almost three years-a record for him.
He met a couple of men, along with a handful of other orphans, who claimed they were from another world. After explaining the concept of draks and pairing to them, many of the older orphans agreed to go with them to try to pair a drak themselves. Colby was more than happy to go along with it, being naturally very curious, adn he ended up at Acicade Castle.
