Garuvalu is a male of the wingly race. His hero is a wingly named Lloyd who wanted only peace. Ever since Lloyd took the almighty dragon buster and disappeared on a quest to bring peace, Garuvalu began to practice with the sword and even dressed very similar to him. Soon afterwards news spread that Lloyd died saving the earth from the God of Destruction. Saddened that his life long hero was dead he decided to carry out his wish. The Dragon Buster was reforged with greater strength than before. After hearing of this, Garuvalu stole it and was caught before he left.
After escaping he took the Dragon Buster, supplies, and a bow and left the forest, never to return. After traveling a long time he ended up at the Valley of Corrupted Gravity. As he rested, the small "island" he was resting on fell as gravity had returned to the area around it. When he awoke he saw a castle in the distance, and began walking towards it, wondering what fate had in store for him.
