Style of Dress or Appearance: Mavok wears brown leather pants, as well
as a
pair of sandy-colored boots with a blue strip across the top. He wears a light green shirt over a brown undershirt, and wears three necklaces around his neck. He has painted a blue stripe across his face as part of his
tribe's ritual, and wears brown gloves. He keeps his hair long, and has feathers on both sides of his hair. He is always carrying a quiver of arrows around his back, his bow hooked onto them. He has his axe slung
into his belt, ready for use at all times.

Skills or Powers: Tracking, enhanced sight / hearing / smell, illusion
magic, knows hand-to-hand fighting, well with long-range fighting,
physically is incredibly strong -- for a human, and can speak with
animals.
Weakness: Mavok has all the weaknesses of a normal human being, and
cannot go without water for long. He also has close ties to nature, and is
very protective of any forest he comes upon. He must always be near a
natural area of nature at all times.
History: Mavok was born a normal human into the tribe of the Absanas.
The Absanas were a nature-loving tribe, that cherished the world around
them and did not hunt for sport, only taking what they needed and making sure to
give back to the land. They taught illusion magic to their tribe to hide
themselves from the stronger, more powerful tribes that wanted to gain
their power. The Absana were an important tribe because there was a prophecy
throughout the tribes of the Great Forest in Onassa: that a Great One
would be born, and he would flourish in magic and be a master of the hunt.
He would unite the tribes. Strangely, the other tribes did not want to
unite. They preferred that they would be correct. They also wanted this
"Great One" to be in their tribe, since it was foretold he would be wise.
They knew, however, that the Absana were the only tribe in Onassa that would
give birth to a warrior who was adept at magic and the hunt. Mavok is that
child. When he was born, the Absana were attacked because they had not
been able to keep their illusion of a rock wall up during his birth. When
he was born, he and his mother were whisked away by the Elder to the forest,
where an entourage of animals led them to safety. They were protected there,
and Mavok was taught by the animals in ways of tracking that no other being
knew. His mother taught him how to fight, and what she knew of magic.
This was very little. So, when Mavok reached the Age of Passing (25), he
moved out into the world to learn more of magic and to fulfill the prophecy
to reunite the tribes of Onassa.
