Earliest memory?
"I've always been petrified of insects so not surprisingly it's an insect related story! I was 2 years old on holiday in Corfu and this little girl I'd made friends with, who was about 6, found the most giant of moths trapped in a patio door, she picked it up, it was whopping, not for the faint hearted, it covered both of her hands so must've been about 6inches across!!!! Enough said really, pretty much explains my fear of creepy crawlies!"
Favourite place?
"The place I love which is never far away is my bed!!! (even better if my boyfriends in it!) I loved watching the sunset on the beach in ibiza, but if I could live in any place in the world it would be the Big Apple!! New York is definitely the most impressive place I've ever been!!!"
Favourite music?
"I'm very much a mood kinda gal when it comes to music, generally if I'm angry I need Scissor Sisters, if I'm feelin a bit girly then it's Britney every time, can't beat a bit of funky house when I'm getting ready to go out! Basically anything I can dance to or sing/shout along to is fine by me!"
Any special qualifications/achievements that you're proud of?
"I'm V.proud to be co-presenting a show on L.Sound!!! That's my current big achievement but other than that I have grade seven piano... erm... I'm actually not that qualified!!!! It's the little things that matter.........!!!!"
First job?
"Sales Assistant in Warehouse, the clothes discount was very nice!!!"
Best job?
"Co-presenting the Big Saturday Show!!!! Me, Keffy and Producer Andy are the dream team!!!"
Dream job?
"Well, I'd like to start on MTV, then a job at Radio 1 wouldn't go a miss, as long as it's fun and has something to do with music I'm a happy lady!!!!"
How did you get started in doing what you do?
"I applied for a job on the Black Thunder Crew promotional team at Leicester Sound not long after I started my degree, that was kind of my foot in the door and as I learnt more about radio at uni I learnt more at the station too! Now I'm doing the Saturday Show, loving it, and hoping and praying that there'll be a little full time job waiting for me somewhere when I finish my degree!!!"
How long ago?
"I've been at Leicester Sound for Two Years!"
Where would you have been seen or heard since you
started broadcasting?
"Well Leicester Sound is pretty much it, apart from a stint on our internet radio stations at uni, plastic fantastic a dance station, and we love brum a nostalgic brummy station!!!"
Best on-air moment?
"The cock ups are probably the funniest bits, just the little things that make us smile, stupid stuff like making fun out of Girls Aloud's Nicola and her ginger pubes trying to embarass another DJ who fancied her!!!! It's all v.silly but makes us laugh!!!!"
Worst on-air moment (embarrassing or otherwise)?
"Fortunately I've not had one yet... touch wood!!!"
