Where are you from?
Bristol originally, but I live in Camberwell, SE London at the moment

Age? (very optional!!!)
31

Favourite place?
In bed in the morning when I don't have to get up
so can have an extra half an hour lie-in

Favourite music?
I love chill-out music. Massive Attack are possibly my favourite band ever. Anything with a great beat and a catchy melody, I suppose...

Any special qualifications/achievements that you're proud of?
I won Holiday Princess on holiday when I was about 9. That was good. I got a free trip to Pixie land and there was a horse there that sneezed on me and I had to walk around with horse snot on me all day.

First job?
Paper round was the very first job.

Best job?
I DJd at Cheryl Tweedie and Ashley Cole's wedding last year,
that was pretty good.

Dream job?
Playing music and talking to Orang Utangs in Borneo.

How did you get started in doing what you do?
I volunteered for AGES!

How long ago?
I got my first paid job in radio in 1999, so a bit before that

Where would you have been seen or heard since you
started broadcasting?
The Wolf, Jazz FM, Smooth FM, Radio Music Shop
and soon on Original in Bristol

Best on-air moment?
Probably the first time I made David and Nick laugh when I started working with them on the Smooth FM breakfast show. Also when I had Zero 7 playing live in the studio - when Sia started singing it sent
shivers down my spine.

Worst on-air moment (embarrassing or otherwise)?
If you don't already know it, I am not admitting to it!

Describe a typical working day (if there is such a thing!)
The only thing that happens the same every single day is that I get up.

Any ambitions left?
So many. The current ambition that is top of the list is to work with a friend, presenting a show together.

Biggest influence in your life?
My mum and dad always encouraged me to do what I wanted. They've probably been the best and biggest infuence

Best advice that you've been given and why?
There's no difference between a friend, enemy or stranger,
it is just your perception of them.

Any hobbies or special interests?
I am a demon knitter. Oh, so showbiz. I've tried to teach myself how to crochet, but just can't do it. I won awards in the local village fayre for knitting when i was a child. I do a lot of gardening, have 2 cats that used to be slightly crazy when they came to live with us but are now totally adorable. I also love buying make-up, but I rarely wear anything other than mascara!

Any advice for those who want to get started in radio?
go for it!
