Where are you from?
"I'm from Kent, although I've been up in the big smoke for so many years that I'm an honorary Londoner now."

Age? (very optional!!!)
"I'm 26. 25/5/77. Which means that I'm 27 soon,
so might start counting backwards soon."

Earliest memory?
"I remember running around my mum's garden with a tea cosy on my head. Don't ask me why, but I had a real thing for wearing it as a hat! Craig David has been copying me ever since."

Favourite place?
"Either...the top of Primrose Hill, Whitstable beach, or if I'm feeling flush, then a beautiful little hotel in Goa!"

Favourite music?
"I really do like anything and everything...from the Darkness to House."

Any special qualifications/achievements that you're proud of?
"I have my motorbike licence, does that count?
I passed first time and everything..."

First job?
"I had a Saturday job in a burger bar when I was 13 which paid an appalling £1.65 an hour! My first full time job was at Capital FM, when I was eighteen."

Best job?
"Covering the Oscars for BBC Radio Five Live."

Dream job?
"I've always thought that those holiday presenters have a lovely job. I've had a couple of nice shoots - like to Barbados and Ibiza -
and loved it. So more of that would be great."

How did you get started in doing what you do?
"I started in radio when I was a youngster, although I obviously thought I was very grown up and old at the time!! I was doing hospital radio from 15 years old, and working part time for the BBC by 16. I was offered a job at Capital FM, after doing a radio and journalism course at college, at 18, and I moved to London. Since then I've been lucky enough to have some great fun radio jobs, and subsequently have been offered television work."

How long ago?
"I'm 26, so you can do the maths."

Where would you have been seen or heard since you started broadcasting?
"If you'd been really listening hard..Invicta FM and BBC Radio Kent. Then Capital FM, BBC Radio Five Live and LBC 97.3. Seen?? GMTV, BBC1, VH-1, Sky One, Travel Channel, Sky Travel, Channel 4, Carlton, and a few others that I can't remember!"

Best on-air moment?
"Interviewing Morten Harkett from A-Ha. A childhood ambition realised."

Worst on-air moment (embarrassing or otherwise)?
"My alarm didn't go off once, and I missed the start of the Breakfast Show at Five Live. I was VERY embarrassed."
