Know that God IS and that Christ is living. We have God's commandments in the Bible. Christ died for our sins long ago. It is through God's grace that we can receive remission for our sins. To have that grace, Christ taught that we need to be baptized by immersion, symbolic of His death and resurrection. Without God's grace through Christ, we are laden with sin. No one is perfect. Even as we strive to live like Christ, we are not perfect. We all need His grace and guidance.
