NEWS

NEW 03/04/09 --- Look! An update! And also a new live album out by the boys to celebrate 15 year aniversary of their breakthorugh album "How to Make Friends and Influence People"..... pre-order yours today to avoid disappointment!

NEW 03/09/01 --- Well I'm back now, it's been a while and theres no excuse for not updating with the big news. TV are to split! Theres going to be a few farewell gigs going on around the country more details to come tomorrow when I can be arsed to do it. BTW how the hell is my counter in the 6000's? Last time I checked it was only something like 4500, must be all those long lost fans making a one last beeline for TV goodies.

NEW 20/04/01 --- Fantastic! I got myself to a record and CD fair on bank holiday monday and supprisingly I came across a video with the full Newcastle Bigg Market gig on it. Well I was happy since I live there had forgot about said gig, so this kinda makes up for it. Quality is ok so I'll do some video captures when I have time but heres a shot from it, click for a larger image.

NEW 26/03/01 --- Our very own bloke who plays guitar for terrorvision, aka Mark, has been included in Total Guitar magazine's '300 Greatest Guitarists Ever!' feature in the new April 2001 issue. The three hundred guitarists are split into thirty groups of ten, with categories including New Wave, Glam, Psychadelic, Britpop, Goth, Alternative Rock, Punk, Prog Rock, Metal, Grunge and naturally, the Top Ten Guitar Heroes (taken from Channel 4's forthcoming TV show of the same name).

Mark has been placed at No. 5in the Brit Rock chart, alongside guitarists from the Manics, Travis, Ash, Placebo and more:

  1. James Dean Bradfield (Manic Street Preachers)
  2. Kelly Jones (Stereophonics)
  3. Fran Healy (Travis)
  4. Kenwyn House (Reef)
  5. Mark Yates (Terrorvision)
  6. Dominic Chad (Mansun)
  7. Ace (Skunk Anansie)
  8. Brian Molko (Placebo)
  9. Grant Nicholas (Feeder)
  10. Tim Wheeler/Charlotte Hatherley (Ash)

Amazing news that he's been put ahead of a lot of the more newer and popular bands, but hey we all know he can throttle out a decent tune any time he wants, and as times change it's good to see skill is still regarded as skill no matter what the fads.

The April 2001 issue of Total Guitar is available in shops and online from March 19.

NEW 08/03/01 --- Nothing terrorvision related in this update, but I've been brushing up on my HTML for my new job (yeah I got it!) and I've planted a little easter egg on this page somewhere, first person to tell me where and what it is wins on one of the Bad Actress CD singles (could be the tin one, oooh) just mail me here with your answer.

NEW 05/03/01 --- Was watching MTV2 on Thursday night and the program featured a recent interview with terrorvision. I've been meaning to record and upload them for the past few days, so here's the links to them.

NEW 05/02/01 --- Well by now you should all have your nice and bright (don't expect any pics of it in here without a bottle of complementry UV sunscreen) copies of "Good To Go" and isn't a return of Terrorvision of old? Well I wasn't too happy with Shaving Peaches, I had no idea where all the pop of that album had gone too, but now they're back and it's like RUS all over again. Buy a copy, buy your friends a copy in fact buy your dog a copy and take pride in the fact the charts will have a rocket up their ass soon.

NEW 31/12/00 --- I'm getting rather good at updates now don't you think? Whaddya mean no!? Well anyways I've put sound to the "Faster..." video clip I did and made it go all fullscreen on your ass, enjoy! Oh btw happy new year in advance!

NEW 29/12/00 --- Just got around to doing a video clip of the "...faster?" music video. Check it out in the video section, it's a bargain at a meg download! No sound with it I'm affraid (I kinda screwed up there) but you'll all be able to buy the single and play it along to the video won't you :)

NEW 28/12/00 --- Did you see our little monkey boy on NMTBC tonight? Another sterling non action packed performance, but it wasn't all that bad, at least they showed a bit of the "...Faster" video so here's the pics from the show and a few pics from the video
