Comment :   I was onboard the uss san francisco ca-38 during the typhoon. Never knew exactly what had happened but heard some ships had capsized. I thought we were coming pretty close to going over.

Comment :   I was on Hanna de449 for shorttimers stay in 1959. I first became aware of "TAB" a couple years ago while reading Mr Colouns(sp?) Halseys other Enemy which was about typhon cobria. Very informing reading.Great site.

Comment :   I am one on the USS HULL DD350 survivors picked up by the USS BROWN DD546 after 3 days in the water. We were picked up about 20 minutes before the six survivors from the USS MONAGHAN were rescued. I am also the reunion coordinator for the USS HULL DD350
