Da Sleepers club intro

Welcome to my page, This site is dedicated to having fun in cars with V8s because here at sleeping V8s were better than you and we know it ! jk but seriously we are. My goal here is to show at least the first two potential cars. My friend keiths 88' Notchback Mustang 5.0, and My up and coming 94' Cougar 4.6 DOHC project. First if you are interested in riding or dying with us know that even though we only have 1 and a half cars in the club so far that youre more than welcome after being judged at random by me because there are no set rules really, only that your car has a V8 and youre cool. However, the judgement is completly decided by me, or keith but hes busy cooking. Ok so there you have it the not so up and coming "car club". But we are both about to have two pretty bad ass cars finished and I will update as soon as I can. .

The Keith Price Mustang Special

Intro: Keith is 21 and lives with some blonde haired kid named chris. He owned a first generation cavalier 5 speed and used to want a CRX. He then bought a 89' Bronco for 1500$ complete with an underpowered 5.0. That is when He fell in love with the V8. After alot of holes in the cooling system and a shot waterpump keith said enough is enough, its time for a change. So he bought a 94 Grand am complete with green paint. After a while of living the FWD 130 hp life, Keith knew that he still wanted a toy car, something to have fun in, etc. That brings us to the new edition to the price stable, 1988 Mustang Lx Notchback. The Lowdown -

This car originally was the dreaded 2.3 liter 4 cylinder that ford molested fox body stallions with. However, despite the modest poked small block this car has a curb weight of only around 3000 lbs. Notchbacks are becoming quite popular for people who have one interest. Speed and well, Speed. By swapping in a V8 it only takes mild power to really make them move. Though the package above with a little less than 300 hp ( easilly more ) might sound weak to some, with a light weight like that, 300 will be all the power you need to easilly have a 12 second bruiser. Keith's car is in need of a little more tuning and preperation for really achieving its peak. However, once he has the computer squared away theres no doubt that this small once 4 cylinder mustang could see the better side of the 12 second zone. How much for this sleeper package ? Well Keith paid the crazy man a grand total of $1700 and got his car pre modified. Makes you think twice before buying an SRT-4 doesnt it ?

My personal favorite qoute he told me after purchasing the mustang:

" I never used to understand and used to laugh at people who would say.. I don't need a radio the sound of an unmuffled V8 is music in my ears.. well now I understand and their right its fuckin awesome, radio would just be an annoying backround noise"

V8s Vs I4s

Please do not even go there. Let me clear up a ton of things before even arguing.
