DREAMLORD - IGM #2
TYPE OF IGM: Small amount of gain in chosen area
ENTRIES PER DAY: Once per Day
MAJOR GOALS IN USE: Gaining small amounts of extra Strength, Defense, etc. per day.
STRATEGY
This is what I call a "Maintenance IGM" It doesn't give a lot of anything, and can only be used once a day; however, at the lower levels, an extra 5 points of Defense or Strength can make a big difference. When you go into this IGM, you need to select Talk/Find the Dreamlord himself, and then select whatever you wish from the list.
1) Choosing Defense: Because there are other IGMs where you can gain LOTs of Strength, I usually choose to take an extra 5 points of Defense. This can be especially helpful when at Level 1 or 2, where 5 extra points makes a big difference.
You can certainly choose other areas if you wish, like Strength, or Hitpoints. I sometimes will choose Strength if I haven't scored big in Strength in other IGMs.
2) Saving the IGM. This is a perfect example of an IGM that is much more useful/beneficial at lower levels than at higher ones. An extra 5 points of Attack or Defense at the higher levels is fairly meaningless, so IF you think you may be slaying the Dragon in this session of play, and starting over again at Level 1, this is the type of IGM you want to NOT use until AFTER you kill the Dragon, and are Level 1 or 2 again.
This isn't a big time IGM in terms of possible gains, but it's the type of IGMs that if played Daily, help to eventually and steadily make a difference over time. It's also one that is always very helpful to leave for after slaying the Dragon whenever possible,
