Tools and Shop
Before starting the project I have spent much time preparing my garage/shop/airplane construction facility.  I'm sure the pre-organization will pay great dividends once the project is underway.

I ordered the "A" kit from Avery Tools prior to purchasing the empannage kit.  This for my own peace of mind in becoming familiar with the tools and to hopefully not want to begin with the parts that matter before I think I know what I'm doing.  The A kit is not in the current Avery catalog, but they had no problem with that.  If I could manage the costs I would have purchased the complete kit they now offer, but as it is I will add the tools as I go, hopefully not spending to much time waiting for UPS.
I'm building in a two car garage.  It's a couple of feet deeper than a standard garage so there is plenty of room to work at the bench toward the back.  I should still have no problem getting one car in the garage when winter comes around again.
Prior to starting I spent quite a bit of time organizing and cleaning out the garage.  I have this well lit work bench plus an old door if I need additional space.
I tried to put all the tools I would need most often on the peg board where they would be easy to get to, and easy to put away to keep the work area neat.  I bought an inexpensive drawer organizer to put all the small parts in and put stick on labels on.
