Assessment Tools
Tests are tools designed to provide information.  Results are best discussed with a professional,  experienced in test interpretation. No test works for every person and  we cannot assume that any test is necessarily accurate. Test Reliability refers to consistency of measurement, the extent to which a test yields the same results for the same individual over time. Test Validity is the extent to which a test measures what it proports to measure. Also, the extent to which inferences made on the basis of test scores are appropriate, meaningful and useful. Use these tools with caution. Question the source.  Professional Employment Counselors have specific competencies concerned with the use of tests and interpretation of results.
