Come along with me and I'll show you all around the farm...

The strawberries are delicious and fun to pick! There are alot of other fun things to do at Gammondale Farm too though...

Because I'm a dog, I can't ride the ponies, but kids sure can! After all, humans only have two legs which are handy when they sit on a pony. I've heard many of the kids say that it is loads of fun. Maybe I will try it one day. This is Muffin the pony in the picture.

Sometimes kids (and parents!) can ride one of the big draft horses too! Digger and Diamond are good at giving rides to people that are too tall to ride on the ponies.

Another really fun thing to do is to play on the tire swing in the huge hay loft of the barn. You can swing and jump off...whee!!!..Right into the soft hay and, oh! I think I want to go swing on it for awhile. I will as soon as I'm done giving you the tour!

In the fall at Gammondale Farm we have Applefest and other fun activites, including Halloween parties! Look at the ghosts and clowns and witches and other Halloween kids in our loft. We even had Spiderman! One of the draft horses even dressed up like Barney the dinosaur one year. I should start thinking of a costume for myself for next Halloween. Maybe I will be Aggie the cat?

Near Christmas time we put on a Nativity scene with real animals. It is a fun way to learn about the meaning of Christmas! And afterwards you can go on a sleigh ride and have hot chocolate in the warm log cabin. I really love Christmas time!

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is ride in a two horse open sleigh! Woof!
Excuse my singing, but that is my favourite song during the winter. Sleigh rides are so much fun!

Gammondale Farm offers school tours during May and June and they are educational and fun for everyone! You can meet the animals and swing on the tire swing and take nature walks and even hike up to the top of Candy Mountain, like these children. The view of the valley is very nice from up there!

Now, if you would like to see more pictures of all the animals, click here and I'll be glad to take you to meet all of them.
