DO YOU BELIEVE IN ANGELS?

My name is Candy, I am 9 years old and my mommy says GOD worked extra hard on me to make me the way I am. (A very special ANGEL!) I was born very sick and it took alot of love to keep me alive! The first 3 years of my life no one really knew what was wrong with me. Finally my Dr. Fig @ Childrens Hospital in Alabama found out that I had a bad pancreas. Pancreatic insufficiency is the grownup name for it. Now I take alot of medicine and you know that's not fun for a kid my age but ot keeps me growing! Thank You so much Dr. Fig and to all the people who prayed for and loved me. My Mommy says people like you is what helps me keep my wings! If you catch me looking over your shoulder I'm only curious to see if you have wings too! May 21, 1999 The doctors @ UAB put all my medical records together and gave my condition a name....WOW what a name it is! SHWACHMAN DIAMOND   SYNDROME (you thought so too)

Just as my mommy thought I was doing better I was in a terrible wreck and was given a 10% chance of living! I sure did fool those doctors and were they proud to hear me scream @ them! I had brain surgery on Halloween day (boy what a treat I got) but I'm alive and doing pretty good. I know I pulled through like I did because so many of you PRAYED for me! Now I want to say Thanks to each and everyone of you! By the way I was just looking and my big sissy BreAnna has big wings! I think hers grew that big because she helped my mommy out with me alot!
